We specialize in adapting, remodeling, and reusing existing buildings, always optimizing flow and functionality. From homes to offices, we handle complete renovations, working closely with contractors, electricians, and plumbers to bring each client’s vision to life—on time and on budget. Sustainability is at the heart of our designs, creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also respectful of the environment.

Kontrast Design was founded by Annika Larsson, a Swedish interior designer and architect based in Barcelona. She trained at Konstfack in Stockholm, the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Barcelona, and has completed more than 140 projects across Spain and Sweden, including award-winning offices and private residences.

Annika works in English, Spanish and Swedish, and is used to guiding international and English-speaking clients through every stage of a project in Barcelona — whether it's a city apartment, a family home, an office or a second residence. Each project is a close collaboration, because great design shouldn't only look good: it should make you feel good.
