Full Apartment Renovation & Interior Design in Bailen street in the Eixample, Barcelona
This interior design project in Barcelona was carried out in a typical apartment in the Eixample. The goal was to recover the home's original character while introducing a contemporary aesthetic adapted to modern life.
The project was developed in collaboration with the clients Åsa Dyberg and Claes Janson, two Swedish architects, reinforcing the studio's international approach and the fusion of Mediterranean and Scandinavian design. Special attention was paid to preserving original architectural elements, such as the hydraulic mosaic floor, which served as the basis for defining the colour palette and the overall concept of the project.
The renovation included a complete redesign of the interior, with an oak kitchen made by Ballingslöv that brings warmth and elegance to the whole. The dining room stands out for its carefully selected vintage furniture, which adds character and personality to the space.
The result is a bright, balanced home with identity, combining the charm of the original Eixample architecture with the needs of contemporary life.
