Full Apartment Renovation in the Barri Gòtic, Carrer Madre de Déu, Barcelona

This interior design project is located in the emblematic Barri Gòtic, in the very heart of Barcelona. The home needed a complete renovation to fully update the space, adapting it to today's needs without losing its historic essence.

One of the main goals was to redistribute the home to include two bedrooms and a spacious dining room, improving functionality and comfort. The generously sized balcony became a key feature of the project, where wood was introduced to add warmth and a distinctive character.

During the work, the stone walls were preserved and restored, reinforcing the identity of the space. To meet the clients' wish for an industrial aesthetic, metal doors were introduced, creating a balanced contrast between the traditional and the contemporary.
